Wetland Wednesday Webinar Series

This webinar series comes from Great Lakes Alliance for Remote Sensing (GLARS),a bi-national collaboration between Michigan Tech Research Institute, University of Minnesota, Canadian Centre for Remote Sensing, Environment and Climate Change Canada, PGC, and SharedGeo, funded through the USFWS, and the EPA. Our team has been working together since 2016 to develop a framework to better measure change in coastal wetlands throughout the Great Lakes.

The purpose of these webinars is to share the latest research, as well as foster conversation and collaboration around wetlands in Great Lakes. Please join us on the third Wednesday of each month for a 30-minute presentation followed by Q&A discussions on topics such as monitoring wetland gain and loss, invasive species, changes in water level and inundation extents, development of digital surface models, updating the National Wetland Inventory (NWI) and more.
